Downpayment and Closing Cost Assistance
Available in Arapahoe County EXCLUDING City of Aurora
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Standard Guidelines:
First Time Homebuyer: 80% AMI
Property must be owner occupied or vacant. No tenants, unless tenant is buyer
HQS and Environmental Reviews required
FTHB Class and CHAC borrower session required
Changes:
Borrower must contribute $1,000 or 1% of sales, whichever is greater
Loan Amount: 6% of sales price or $10,000 whichever is less
Terms: 3% simple interest, amortized over 10 years: NO DEFERRALS
BORROWER is REQUIRED TO LIVE IN HOME FOR 5 YEARS. They will have to sign an agreement

CHAC Housing Counselor, Charlotte O'Donnel has been selected by the Department of Housing and Urban Development from the thousands of Counselors Nationwide as one of the eleven "Champions of Change".
